Improving Indonesia's Trade, Export Transactions Continue to be Boosted

Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan wants to boost trade transactions in Indonesia.

Among other things, through the 39th annual Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) trade show, the targeted trade transaction of US$15 billion can be achieved.

This year, the number of foreign buyers committed to attend was recorded at 6,647, up 124.4 percent from the number of buyers in 2023 which was recorded at 2,961.

“It is also hoped that this year's TEI achievements can exceed last year's implementation and achieve the targeted trade transaction of USD 15 billion,” Zulhas said in Jakarta, quoted on Thursday (10/10/2024).  

Meanwhile, Hyper Mega Shipping (HMS) participated in the event for the purpose of continuing to introduce its services as a freight forwarding professional.

“We will continue to maintain our commitment to Sustainability and Green Logistics,” said Ms. Reef, CEO, Hyper Mega Shipping. 

According to Reef, the company developed Electronic Delivery Online (EDO), systematized CFS (Container Freight Station) warehouse, online membership booking system for customers, obtained ISO certification, adopted ERP. 

“So that we can integrate our systems, from HR, Sales, Marketing, Operations to Finance, which will improve our business efficiently and effectively in the long run,” he added.

The TEI 2024 event, according to him, visitors can get the opportunity to interact, negotiate and transact, and can get various new policy information, and a series of activities such as international seminars.
