The Role of Ready-to-Wear Clothing Imports in Indonesia’s Trade
Although there was a decline in total import value compared to the previous month, increases in certain sectors, including ready-to-wear clothing, reflect trade dynamics influenced by domestic demand and trade relations with major countries like China, Vietnam, and Bangladesh. This serves as an important signal for the domestic industry to enhance the competitiveness of local products amid the influx of imported goods.
