TEI 2024: HMS Aims for Export Market and Expands Logistics Shipping Market

PT Hyper Mega Shipping (HMS) is one of the leading freight forwading companies in Indonesia that participated in the Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) event which was held on October 9-12, 2024 at the International Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD, South Tangerang. 

HMS's participation in the event is a step towards branding and targeting the export market as well as expanding the logistics delivery market.

“This is the second time HMS has participated in TEI. In addition to branding, through this event, we want to target the export market,” said PT HMS Sales, Susi when met at the TEI 2024 event, Wednesday (9/10/2024).   

TEI 2024 memberikan kesempatan bagi para penyedia produk dan jasa ekspor di Indonesia untuk mengenalkan produk dan memberikan informasi bisnisnya kepada para pembeli serta investor. Melalui event ini, Susi juga berharap HMS bisa mendapatkan lebih banyak lagi customer baru.

“Tentunya melalui event ini, kami berharap bisa mendapatkan lebih banyak lagi customer baru,” ungkap Susi.

Tak hanya membidik pasar ekspor dan memperluas pasar pengiriman logistik saja. HMS juga siap membantu para buyer yang terkendala perizinan ekspor dan impor. Namun hal itu bisa dilakukan selama legalitas yang dimiliki oleh buyer tersebut lengkap.  

Innovation and Increasing Existence

SPV Marketing HMS, Ahmad Baihaki said, besides that HMS also continues to innovate to improve shipping services, one of which is that it has officially joined IATA since September 16, 2023 and HMS has also served shipping via air freight forwading.

“This innovation is our commitment to provide the best service. By using air transportation, of course, the delivery of goods is also faster, more effective and efficient,” he said.

Some of the air freight forwading services by HMS include door to door services, airport to airport services, charter services, express air freight, and consolidation services.

Regarding other innovations, Ahmad Baihaki revealed that his party is currently focusing on improving human resources.  

In the midst of the onslaught of business competition to weak global economic conditions as well as high inflation in Indonesia, PT HMS is not sluggish. Quite the opposite. The company, which has been established since 2004, has increasingly existed as one of the best freight forwading companies in Indonesia, with more than 100 local forwarders using HMS services.

“To get to this point, besides innovation, of course there are also strategies that we do to be able to continue to exist and survive in this business. Incidentally, this October is HMS's birthday, of course there is a real movement for innovation,” said Ahmad Baihaki.

After 20 years of existence, PT HMS started from a small office with five people in Jakarta and now has branches in Surabaya, Semarang, Hong Kong and Singapore.
